House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure seeks to rescind $4.6 billion from IRA bill created to combat climate change

As part of the fiscal reconciliation legislation, Republicans are also proposing a new tax on electric vehicles.The Republican majority on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee would advance its fiscal reconciliation language that cuts funding from the IRA law.
